what is the world coming to when our friends and allies refuse to sell us most firearm related items, and our old enemies like eastern block countries are only to happy to ?.

What he means is the restriction on exports of ANY firearm or related parts. I live in Canada and so am unable to get U.S made barrels,actions etc without going to a lot of hassle and extra expense.I know a guy who ordered 2 action screws and had them confiscated at the border as they were for a firearm.
I can partially understand what the U.S government is thinking, our imigration policies are simply ridiculous but the U.S may want to have a look at their own if they are really concerned about this threat). Do they not do realize other countries offer firearms related items?
I just ordered 2 Barnard actions and several barrels etc.
