What is the limit?

95 flat is the correct book answer but given the variance in barrels and twist I would not rule out trying VLD.

I have a 6br and it has a 1:10 twist barrel. What is probably the heaviest Bullet that I may want to try?

95gr Bib's is a very good FB bullet. The Berger 90 gr. BT is a very good bullet also. I had a 10 tw a few years back, the 90gr. BT shot very well to 1000 yds.

SG, as calculated by the "Twist Rate Stability Factor" tool on the Berger site, link here;

http://www.bergerbullets.com/twist-rate-calculator/

takes in to account both weight and length. I was doing some calculations yesterday on a Sierra 6mm 107 MK and then a DTAC 115. I did the calculation for the SMK first. When I entered the information for the DTAC I missed changing the bullet weight. All of the other parameters that changed, BC, Length were correct and the parameters that did change, Temp, Twist, Altitude etc were the same. However the weight was still at 107. This resulted in a Stability Factor calculation of 1.45 with an 8 twist barrel. It was not quite what I expected so I rechecked all of the inputs and saw that the weight was wrong. With the correct weight the SG calculation was 1.56.
.
Bullet length and BC were not changed, only the weight. Both weight and length count.

Try it for yourself. Calculate the SG for any bullet and then change the weight. For the 115, each grain decrease reduced the SF by 0.01.
