What is the GoTo 6BR seating die - For a standard press

I do believe in Captain Crunch.
Looking for recommendations on what seating die to go with for my 6BR build. I am looking for one that will work with my rockchucker. So that means, arbor press dies are out. Just want a seating die that has a good track record. I have searched the archives, but my results are doused with the wilson arbor seating die recommendations. I just want it buy once, cry once on this standard press seating die.

For now the bullets I'm using are the Speer 70gr TNTs and the Hornady 105s. Not planning on doing any competing. This is a 300-500 yard prone fun gun. Not a benchrest setup.

I'll be using the Wilson FL bushing die as my sizing die. I was thinking of going with a custom harrell's or whidden, but I have nothing to size with to make my 3x once fire brass to send in. And I'm not comfortable getting custom dies made only from a reamer print.

I prefer the Redding Competition seater dies over all others and styles. Nothing wrong with what many refer to as inline type dies but I simply prefer to seat using the same press that I use for sizing. The micrometer top makes changes easy and precise. They work basically just like the various inlines out there and I have no complaints or issues with any of mine. Probably have about 20 of them.

This is more of a ford vs chevy thing than an actual difference and most runout issues can be traced back to the sizing operation or elsewhere anyway. I mentioned in another thread that I tied a record at a night shoot a few years back, using a 6ppc Redding seater to seat bullets in a 220 Beggs! That should tell you something all by itself. I hear where others have had some sort of issue with them and various dies but I can't get my head wrapped around how THIS die is made could cause those issues. So, I'll fall back on my standy here and say...Testing is how we KNOW stuff. Contrary to what some believe, it's not the internet and it's not always best to use something just because that what(insert name)uses.
 
Ditto on the Redding
If you get one take it apart and clean out the rustproofing-oil etc
The pieces are very tight fit--if not cleaned first Like the Instructions tell you to do--it can make problems--on another note their seater stem is pretty universal and will seat a lot of different profiles--they only make one other stem for ELD type I love the Redding---I also have a Whidden but it seems to require a custom seater for different bullets at a pretty $$$ each--I asked for a "universal" like the Redding but they just said name a bullet they would make a stem--I guess I am not that advanced or cool
 
Forster Micrometer sizing die is hard to beat and can be had for a little cheaper than the Redding if you shop around. And as others have said the graduation marks are easier to see than on others. I like it over the Whiddens also.

WILSON all day long
 
Do any of you guys have experience with both the Forster and Redding Micrometer dies? Any noticeable difference? Other than hash marks.

I’ve owned both Redding and Forster also Hornday and Wilson, all those seaters seat bullets accurately.
