As far as forums go, this one is pretty polite. Sincere questions tend to get sincere answers. People may assume a certain level of knowledge, so pipe up if things get too detailed too fast. We all start somewhere.

Certain topics come up over and over with little resolution (annealing, custom actions, barrel cleaning, etc). You’ll get the hang of it quickly.

Use the search function if you have a very basic question- chances are good it’s been answered to death already.

And welcome. Get your wallet ready.

I think abuse of dumb animals is a crime in 48 of the 50 states. Not sure about Alabama and Arkansas.

Something else that may not be "taboo" but is often frowned upon is long-winded or inflammatory political rants. Doesn't seem to be specific rules, but it's best kept quick, clean, and quiet -- kind of like a fart in church. jd

Yes! as in "I am shooting a 110 SMK and it won't shoot".. But no mention of the twist rate. If they were shooting a straight 8 it won't work. If they are shooting a straight 7, then it's not the twist rate causing the problem, it's something besides that..

New guy here, I have posted some info in the welcome section but wanted to ask what is taboo on this forum? I am looking to expand my knowledge of handloading and certainly not start or participate in an internet argument of opinion. So what are some of the topics to stay away from or do I just need to take some lumps and learn the hard way?

Before you ask a question, use the search function. If the search function gives no joy, then ask the question..........but don't ask a question and then argue with the responder over semantics or a small part of the answer you were just given. IOW, don't act like some of the clueless from ARF or SH. Common sense and courtesy will get you a long way on this website.
