What diameter Hornady headspace gauge are you guys all using for the 6 BRA? On the back of the package it says the .350" is for the 6 BR, so I would assume it'd also work for the BRA?However, I've also seen a lot of guys saying to use the .375" So now I'm slightly confused. Does it really matter which one to use? Once you take your measurements, whatever the numbers may be, you're still goimg to bump 1-2 thou regardless, so set the die up accordingly.

It's a measurement taken for comparison. Before/After.

Choose whichever one appears to you to be midway between the shoulder and the neck. And always use the same one.

The SAAMI blueprint gives the diameter at mid-point of the shoulder. I'll see if I can find. Like the other guy said the diam is just a before and after measurement.
