I remember 28 cent gas and 100 weekly paychecks to and yes I can afford the stuff better today than back then. I never thought of them as the good old days. 10.00/100 for 7mm bullets seemed like a lot back thenI also remember 200 dollar rent, dollar gas, and 100 dollar paychecks. I can more readily afford ammo and components at today’s prices than I could in the so called good ol days.
Back in my day, Long Rifles were a quarter, Longs were .20 and shorts were .15. But alas, we usually didn't have the .15.
