What does the "*C" mean on Quickload?

I just called Neco in spoke with Ed DIllon. He advised me that the *C Designates powder that has copper removing additives, and the *T designates powder that has reduced sensitivity to temperature change.

Cool. Thanks!

Wonder if they mentioned that in their release notes (most don’t bother to read those, but sometimes it’s worth it to do so!)?

Mr. Guffey Sir - This has Nothing to do with RCBS so please,

You are correct; RCBS uses foot notes and includes the foot notes at the end of the article and or at the bottom of the page. There is a chance by the next printing the foot notes can be added or the publisher can print an additional page and mail to interested parties or they can make it available through the Internet.

A loading manual - Yes I agree "C" signifies compressed charge in almost all instances. - In Q/L with the powder lists - No - The "T" & *C just showed up with the Jan. 2018 update to the program. They were not there previously.

I was told it means that the powder has a copper fouling reducer added to it. Both IMR4955 and IMR7977 have it as well as other Enduron powders. The *T means that it's not temperature sensitive.

A couple of other powders Alliant Reloder 16 and Reloder 23 also have the *C*T designation. I have 2 more rifles in the works and they are going to have to work with one of those 4 or another *C powder.

I call people all the time, but talking to the man at Neco or Dave Manson will form a memory.... and the man at Huntington.... or Whidden.
