What does it take to load on the go?

The use of an electronic scale was the reason for the problem. It has an auto off function that could not be shut off. I have contemplated a battery for my Chargemaster but never did get one.

You can turn off the auto off feature on the scale below. These are accurate and the batteries last a long time. A 34 oz peanut jar with the bottom cut out blocks the wind very well (thanks to Boyd Allen for that tip).
