What do you think the possibilty is for a 7 rnd mag

jonbearman

I live in new york state, how unfortunate !
I live in new york and was wondering if you guys have any insight on the possibilty of the big companys making a 7 round mag for ar-15's,ar-10's,aks,m1a's etc.I also have garands and carbines which getting any mags for them are hard to find.

I cant leave as I have a mother that is elderly and my kids.I am more interested in seeing if anyone knows who might make them and if you block a mag,it has to be permanent, like welded so you cant easily alter back .Then by jan 14th 2014 I have to sellor destroy them or surrender them so the cops can sell or keep them.It is crazy and well thought out to make it impossible to do this.

No numbers on mags and usually cash paid for them. Don't lose any sleep over this Jon. They are in the wrong and have infringed upon your inalienable rights. I have already read some stuff today where they already know there will be no compliance in NYS. Ands they will not escalate beyond that. They are getting overloaded with letters and phone calls.

Jon, I completely understand your circumstances with the elderly mother. I am in the same boat. I don't believe that New York can make this thing stick. They have made criminals out of thousands with a stroke of the pen. They can't put you all in jail. I would like to see that point made Nationally with a peaceable armed march into DC. Worrying about this is going to have an adverse affect on your health. You are too nice a guy to let these idiot politicians play with your sanity. And yes, if this is not over turned, there will be companies filling the 7 round magazine niche.

I am sure the manufacturers will make the limited capacity mags required for whatever the outcome turns out to be. Heck, they might all be pink so they are easily identifiable visually. That will be after they all get contested and it goes up to the supreme court to decide. Later on when this all gets lifted again, we can paint them black or green. :)

All it takes is 1 supreme court justice, and our guns could be gone. Sandra Sotomayor has already stated that the second amendment does not mean an individual has a right to own a gun.
