What do you think a 1948 Model 70 Winchester is worth?

I know this is a hypothetical question but I can't seem to get the pictures to post.
What do you think a Model 70 Winchester in 270 made in 1948 in about 75% to 80% is worth?

Like rifles posted on GunBroker will give you a pretty good gauge for value. Look at the ones with bids, not what some are asking.

+1 for checking on gunbroker.com active auctions. Look for those with less than 6 hours left if possible. The collectables alway finish strong at the end. I would think $800+++ if the bore is in good shape with no rust or major stock damage. Also check on sites that specialize in Winchester sales as well as gunsinternational.com as they are more of a classified as opposed to auction site.

jonbearman,

I'm in line behind you. Consider this an "I'll take it!" at that price.
