What do you guys think about a 22 Dasher.

We will be putting a .22Dasher build in the works. After we get done with our 6mmx47Lapua build project. The components that we will be using is a Lilja 3 - groove 8 twist BR contour. The action that we are going to be using is a HaverKamp stainless steel model LV - 40 Dual - Port the stock that we will be using is a EmmaCreek Match Bench Rest rifle stock. What are your recommendions on Free Bore. We are going to be shooting between 80gr - 90gr. Sierra match king bullets. Who was the guy that set the world record in New Zealand with the 22Dasher with the 80gr. Bullets ?

i went with a 22 brx so i didn't have to buy additional dies. i had too much freebore but was able to get some loads to shoot in the ones and occ in the zeros. main downside was barrel wear. reminded me of my 22'250s which i was hoping to replace with this one. my 22 BRS don't eat their barrels.

I've got a 14 twist 22dasher on a rem 700 action. I wish mine was twisted faster, but it shoots itty bitty groups with any ~50 grain bullet I've tried. You'll love it in a 8 twist.
