what do people treat walnut media with for tumblers

No, I have not noticed anything. It seems like there is even less dust than without the mineral spirits. I will keep that in mind, and watch for anything. Lightman
 
I use walnut hulls and Brasso. Have rarely used anything other than Brasso to polish. Don't care if it does have ammonia I don't see an effect on my brass. Besides, the abrasives will eat the brass away quicker than the ammonia ever will.

Ive used the rouge too, works great! Usually only a few drops and always need to put in a dryer sheet or damp paper towel, creates a lot of dust. But brass is shiny and clean ;D
