Hunting season ends tomorrow and not going to be able to sneak in one last hunt so I pulled out stuff to load a batch of 357 Herrett and 35 Rem for next season.

The next load development is for a 30 TC I picked up a while back. 178 eldx’s over aa2520

After final testing yesterday I decided on my load and today using brass done a few days ago -I loaded 400 rounds
223, 80.5 Varget, Fed 205 primer , 2.030 BTO , 23.5 Varget for my Urban barreled 7 Twist ISSF chamber It is shooting very small groups with this load over the last two weeks I fine tuned my neck tension as the last step had started with a 222 mandrel but a 223 mandrel with this brass proved to be the ticket--It was fun seating bullets and they all felt the same going in--none in the fouler pile this time
Ready to fight the wind some now!

The 53g Vmax load I had been using works fantastic in my other rifle but was not as happy in this barrel so I loaded up a batch of those to do seating depth test and see what it may like better

One of my 308s like 44 grains of Varget under pretty much any 150 grain bullets. I was given a box of Speer 2022 150 SPBT last week. Took them for a spin earlier this week and settled on a COAL that works pretty good.
Been on a tractor all afternoon, not quite feeling that prepping and loading is going to happen today… but it might.

I am finishing up a long series of loading 1800 rounds of 7.62 by 51mm cartridges. The brass is once fired Lake City & Federal Brass, primed with Winchester large rifle primers & powered by Hodgen BL-C (2) in 46 gr charges. The bullet is Armscor 147 gr .308 FMJ BT w/c.

This ammo is being loaded with my ancient Dillon RL-450 & is to be fired from a Zastava M77, several AR-10's & my M1a for everyday plinking & or sighting in for the new rifles.

It has been a long time project, but well worth it IMHO!
