I have not personally heard of a .17 chambering for an AR but I'm sure someone has done it. Otherwise pick any caliber between .224 & .308 and someone has surely modified the .223 case for it. Maybe even bigger. Current hot seller is 300 AAC Blackout.akgrant said:Not sure if anything other than the .223 case can be used with the standard bolt. There are so many options out there but I'm not sure which ones use that bolt. Thanks for any info

They are just shortened .223/.222 cases. Or you could neck up .300 BLK cases.akgrant said:.221 are hard to find cases, though there would be dies and reamers already made. I know the case head is bigger on the other two which is why I was asking about the 6.8 bolt fitting in a .223 carrier
