what bullet for new broughton 308 win

it's a 5c 12 twist 24 inch... it was headspaced for the fmm 168's. what bullet should i try to get me the most range? ne one know what kind of range and accuracy has be achieved w/ a 24 inch 308?

do i have enought twist for the berger 175 vld's?

I shoot a .308 Win/24" Krieger with a 1:12 twist. Mostly I use 155 & 168 grain bullets, often Sierra or Nosler. It stabilizes a 175 Sierra Matchking just fine. No trouble at all on the 600 yard line with any of those bullets.

The 175 gr Sierra or Berger will do best at long range. Up to 600 yards I like the new 155 sierra or 155.5 berger but up to 1000yds I dont think the 175's can be beat.

The Berger 175 and a big stiff dose of varget would be real hard to beat for out to as far as YOU can go.
