What barrel lube after cleaning

FWIW - Kroil is a penetrating oil, many of which contain low viscosity/high volatility organics. For that reason, such components are a poor choice for long-term surface protection and penetrating oils are typically not the best choice for that application. A quality gun oil should do everything needed.

That will be a big mistake.
well since i posted that and thought about it awhile, i never really tried to degrease my bores. A few times i have just patched the solvent out and shot them that way. when cleaning i cant see the diference between that and oiling the bore a little as far as cleaning effort i need to expend. i just cant see why a few drops of oil would keep fouling from happening, but i am no world class competitor either. i dont need to worry about my first few shots being out of the group and a patch at the end of cleaning with a little lube on it only takes a few more seconds so i do it but i still wonder- thanks
