what bags for new rest

hello
I just got a new front rest and would like to have some help on what type of bags would be the best for my set up.
The front rest is one that is made in Altoona PA from the greater altoona career and technology center.
I will be shooting a 12bvss in 308 out to 500 meters and would like to get protektor bags for the front and rear.
I have decided to use a #2 for the front but for the rear I still do not know what to get. Any suggested would be greatly appreciated.

I would also like to know when you buy these bags filled are they filled the hole way or do find that you have to add more sand.

thanks for any help
matt

mattc,
I've got the same rest and really like it.
I originally got the protektor front bag, but replaced it with an Edgewood. I really like the cordura bag. It conforms to the forearm better than leather does. Leather is too bulky, at least for a 3" flat forearm in my opinion.
Looking at the protektor web site, I think my rear bag is a 14A -- bunny ears, and heavy bottom. I wish it were the 14B which is one inch taller because I need to put a wood block under it when using the rest. The heavy bottom has several layers of leather to make it flat and hold its shape. It is so hard you'd think it was a board in the bottom. It sits on a bench very well.
Some day I'll replace the rear w/ an Edgewood.

thanks for the replies
I guess I should have asked what is the reason for all the diffrent type rear bags. Why would you want diffrent size bunny ears? Is it only for diffrent shooting situation or for diffrent type of rifles. I have seen some guys use bunny ears that are very small and have seen other with quite large ones.
So why would I buy one over the other?

I asked the Question about the bags being filled because I don't want to spend extra money on a filled bag and find out that I have to fill it anyway.

I did a search and could not find anything on this. The Edgewood bags look very nice but are really out of my price range

thanks matt

Matt,
Rabbit ear bags, tall ears) give more side to side support to the stock. I've got bunny ears, short ears) because my after-market stock has a monte carlo so the tall ears would hit it. Benchrest shooters mostly use short ears because the 3" flat forearm stabilzes the rifle. Not sure what people use w/ a more rounded forearm, and I'm sure you will find shooters that prefer each type.
