what 6mm to go for

Right you can have an improved case and not be Ackley. Whitleys is a 30 degree improved 243. Where an Improved 40 degree is Ackley's fingerprint.

Well guys alot to think about. As this is only going to be a varmint and fox rifle with the odd target day chucked in I dont really need to go for heavy bullets. 87 vmax will be about the heaviest I need to chuck.

As we get roe deer round these parts in england they could be on the menu also. Up to 90 grain bullets would cover all my needs. If going for a 6br a 10 twist would be best for this I take it. ?

A friend of mine has a tikka m595 stainless action with a weaver rail on top. And a 22/250 mag. So the mag will feed the 6br rounds perfect. Add a pacnor or kreiger barrel. And have action and barrel bead or vapour blasted. It will look good as new.

Sort a stock for it then.I have a mcmillan hunter stock on my tikka m595 17 Remington so one of them would be nice. Though to keep costs down if I could find a laminated m595 stock I really like those to.

Cheers for all the info guys. Atb jay
