What 20 moa mount for AR10 with Sightron on III 10-50x60 ? I have the Answer now. Thanks.

First I want to thank every one the last Year for help with my long range shooting questions. It has been a long year coming back from a bad detach Retina operations in my shooting eye
( 3 operations for $33,000 ) . I went exactly 1 year with out shooting a firearm of any kind. Eye is not what it use to be but Dr gave me the ok to shoot again. Shot 10 shots in February now ready to go.
Question. I bought a new AR 10 in 6.5 creedmoor. New AR10 by Shaw. Man nice gun and what a price out the door. I bought the 24 inch barrel with threaded muzzel and the muzzle break for $1040.00. That is out the door. With Magpul stock even.
S/N 63. They have made barrels for ever and bolt guns , now AR guns. I bought a warren 30mm 1 PCs Mount with 20 moa built in for this gun .
You might now not enough clearance for that big 60mm bell. 3/8 inch not high enough. 1 option to ad 1/2 inch riser rail and put Warren 1 PCs Mount on top or Burris z rings. Just wondering if anyone here has a AR with the big Sightron III 10-50x60 on it and want 20moa Mount they gave on it ? Save me a lot of time and ordering by doing it right the 2nd time sorta speaking. Ha ha ha. My warden Mount is about 3/8 not high enough. If z rings I take it extra high tactical would be highest they make ?

Ive used the Armalite 1 piece mount and the nightforce 1.5” and 1.375” 1 piece uni mount.

All work well, i like the 1.5” height Nightforce the best.

Guys I sure could use some help here. I am going to go with Burris Z Rings in the 30mm for the Sightron III 10-50x60.puting the rugs in a AR10 rifle.
Question.... in Burris Z rings should I go with high or extra high for this scope ?
Also can some one tell me if the Burris tactical rings are they a Z ring also ( do they come with the inserts ). Thanks. Marty

All Burris Signature rings come with inserts. The Burris Signature Z rings are for picatinny rails.

The Burris Xtreme Tactical rings do not come with inserts.

I would recommend you look at the Burris XTR Signature rings.

I returned my 1/2 inch high 4 inch long risers rail. Just to much and Did not like the looks of it when I added my warren 20 moa 1 PCs Mount to top of the rise. It was double stacked. Looked kind of weird for me. So I bought the high set of 1.25 Burris signsture z rings. I hope they work without a riser. 60mm bell is big on the sightron. Maybe should have bought the extra high at 1.5 inches high. Pain in but returning and waiting for credit card credit. Buying them from brownels. They Are a good outfit. I will keep

Will after 4 attemps buying 1 PC scope mounts and rings , risers/ring combos I finally bought I think the right rings for my sightron lll 10-50x60 Scope. Burris 30mm signature rings , extra high.
I have only .050 gap of air under the scope bell and picanney rail on the gun.
I have sightron brand scope plastic covers coming but don’t think there is enough room to put it on bell. Thought I would share to all that help me. I hope it is not to low for my eye etc. plus hope scope or gun does not swell up on a hot day...... ha ha ha ha. Just kidding , but man is it sitting close to rail on the gun. Hope it is not to close. Now I get to wait for brownells to credit my credit card $396.00 worth of stuff I sent back because I was to dumb to fiquire height I needed. Ha ha ha. Thanks again.
