WFT trimmer set up question

I bought my first WFT trimmer the other day, in 30-06. I set it up and trimmed some cases last night and the cases are chamfered on the inside of the neck. Is this normal for this trimmer?

No at least in the trimmers I have owned, i.e. Wilson, Lyman, and RCBS.

Also, that is way too much chamfer in my opinion. Something seems amiss here.

Something smells bad. The WFT just uses a flat endmill. Take a look at the cutter.

Agreed, Take a look at the cuttter, there has to be something cutting that chamfer. I will say, however, a deep chamfer like that is just fine as long as you aren't shortening your necks.

The endmill measures 0.315" OD. My cases measure like .333" OD.

Nope, freshly resized. No chamfer. I've been trimming with the Lee setup and my drill for 30 years or so. I bought the WFT because I am doing more M1 Garand match shooting and it will be faster to process a bunch of cases at once.

I believe they just put the wrong endmill in my trimmer. It looks like it should be a 0.375" end mill but I ended up with a 0.315" end mill. I expect they will take care of it but it is frustrating to deal with on a Saturday morning with a new tool.

My Henderson power trimmer puts a light chamfer on the case, by design, but nothing that aggressive. Something is wrong there.

PITA, but be sure they will take good care of you..

The hole in holder is probably wrong as well(5/16) it should measure a couple thousandths over .375. (3/8)
Best to send it back.

I thought they made a model that is like a 3 in 1, but I very well could be mistaken
