Agreed, Take a look at the cuttter, there has to be something cutting that chamfer. I will say, however, a deep chamfer like that is just fine as long as you aren't shortening your necks.Something smells bad. The WFT just uses a flat endmill. Take a look at the cutter.
YesIs that a 30-06 case in the picture?
Nope, freshly resized. No chamfer. I've been trimming with the Lee setup and my drill for 30 years or so. I bought the WFT because I am doing more M1 Garand match shooting and it will be faster to process a bunch of cases at once.I'm gonna say that case was already chamfered and you aren't trimming it very much
They sure aren't meant to do that, are you sure it's for a 30 caliber ?

You found the problem. The endmill measures 0.315" OD. My cases measure like .333" OD.

PITA, but be sure they will take good care of you..View attachment 1559824
I believe they just put the wrong endmill in my trimmer. It looks like it should be a 0.375" end mill but I ended up with a 0.315" end mill. I expect they will take care of it but it is frustrating to deal with on a Saturday morning with a new tool.
