In your video a electric plug in A/C drill is fastened to the reloading bench "BUT".........................

A battery powered hand drill is all the that is used at Little Crow Gunworks, the manufacture of the WFT trimmer below.

See videos at the link below.

I need one for my three five gallon buckets of .223/5.56 once fired brass. :'(

Biged and Lumber Jack,
i have 3 of them they work great!! i process the big 3 military caliber brass. .223, .308 and .30-06! I am sure you guys know how thick that stuff is. i use the hand held drill the bench motor would be nice but i can travel with the drill set up. you wont regret the purchase. Good Luck my friends,
Cheers,
Doc

Im sure the tool works great and I am definalely oredering two. one for .223 and one for .300 Blackout. I just think the electric motor setup in that video is nice and would like to replicate it. I just cant see enough of the motor to identify it. Maybe someone can.

some electric motors can be really expensive, so much to the point that you could have bought a nice power case trimmer, Id just like to see what they were using.

I'm a cheap bastard, and I'm so tight when I break wind it sounds like a silent dog whistle. ::)

Go to the Salvation Army or Goodwill and buy a second hand A/C electric plug in type drill and fasten it to your work bench or get creative and mount it to a pine board and just clamp it to your bench when you use it.

Now listen to the video link you posted, you can hear the drill change speeds as he pulls the trigger of the drill. ;)

"OR" don't be a cheap bastard and buy the Giraud trimmer. :-\

I can't really complain, my wife and son went together for Xmas and bought me a PSA AR15 mid length upper. ;D ;D ;D ;D

I guess it is just a drill. I thought it was a bench mounted motor. Im an ingenuitive type guy. I like to piece-meal things together, as long as they work. Sure I could buy a giraud, but whats the fun in that.

I was just joking above, I have a 35 year old hand crank Lyman case trimmer and I just replaced the original cutter head with a carbide cutter replacement. I'm still going to get the WTF trimmer very soon and I just started looking online at it this week. I keep looking down at my three full five gallon buckets of .223/5.56 cases and wonder if I'll ever be done. ( and two of the buckets need the primer pockets swedged) :'(

Below my WST (Worlds Slowest Trimmer) powered by a battery powered drill. ;D

I have a love-hate relationship with my A2 HBAR, I love the rifle "BUT" it throws perfectly good brass away and makes me go look for it. :'( :'( :'(

I have one in 223 and 308 and could not make it without either one. I put a piece of plywood on my lathe bedways and chuck it up in my lathe. Set my loading blocks or buckets on the plywood and go to town... I turn it around 755rpm and it cuts smooth as glass. I am going to make one for my 6.5 Grendel soon. Matt
