Wet Tumbling after resizing?

I wet tumble after sizing to remove any lubricant I used on the cases during sizing. Why? Residual lubricant on cases will result in higher forces on the bolt face.

Note that I body size cases and clean off any visible grime from the case body before sizing.

Standard answer: first determine your accuracy goal. Then once you get your load, try tumbling before and after sizing and see how you get your accuracy goal. Or if it even matters

Tumbling brass after sizing is a no-no for me. YMMV.

Same here. I use the minimal amount of sizing Lube to safely resize the brass and then either just ignore the lube or wipe it off after sizing.

As long as you don't make it sloppy wet with Lube then basic handling of the rounds or a light wipe down will take care of the lube.

If any of the lube gets in the chamber, I just clean the chamber when I clean the bore.

But tumbling after sizing has too much danger of denting the case mouths for my comfort level.

I don't know but I'd rather wet tumble first and have clean cases to run through the dies. Maybe just deprime them first before tumbling. Also be aware than the inside of the necks can be too clean causing what some people call "cold welding". You may need to coat the inside of the necks before reloading. I'm experimenting with dry Imperial graphite lubricant but may change to something else. I didn't know I had a problem until I pulled down 100 rounds I had loaded a few months before. About 1 of every 10-15 were stuck, hard enough that I had to smack the press handle to break them loose (using a collet puller). I also tried Hornady case lube inside the necks. This seems to work but there is another problem. When it dries out, it works better than red Loctite. This could potentially happen with a round heat soaking in a hot chamber. I heated a couple dummy rounds with a torch, not extremely hot. My collet puller would not pull them out.
I deprime then wet tumble with SS pins.. Don't tumble everytime. I like clean cases to size.

I don't remember the brand it was many years ago. A name brand case lube in a tube like tooth paste and water based. When it dried out it was as hard as a rock. I wipe the lube off each case with a paper towel. It only take a couple seconds. How hard it is to wipe might depend on what your using for lube.

Sometime tumble twice, sometimes once and then sometimes not at all. Depends on what exactly I am loading for and the condition of the brass to begin with. Whatta Hobby!

Lubed necks? Cold welding? So, I wonder how Federal GM, Blackhills match, Lapua and other high end match factory ammo are so successful in performing well enough with dry virgin brass and bare naked bullets. I've fired all these factory brands with excellent results. More than enough times I've had the likes of Fed GM shoot 3 shot set, one-holers. I still reload to achieve ultimate consistency. Just pointing out the lack of "special" neck treatments of the brass surface.
Sometimes alot of these topics go so far out into the weeds, we lose sight of the roadwayo_O

I’ve been wet tumbling w ss pins for +-20 years. Then size, tumble in walnut then finish the process. I’ve never had an issue with “cold welding”. Sure can’t wrap my mind around it. If that were a thing how do manufacturers assembling new brass and bullets, as clean as it gets, not have issues.
I’m thinking some “expert” said, it so it has to be true.
