Western Colorado 4/12/2025 600 yard Freedom Benchrest report
Seven shooters attended the event.
Conditions were very challenging and windy. Temperatures went from 65 degrees at 10 am to 80 degrees at 2 pm.
The wind finally died down as we were having our awards ceremony.
Despite the wind, we had some very small groups.
We shot heavy gun first, Randy Carter managed a 1.539” group with his 284, Tim Barber shot a 1.773” group with his BRA
Tim Barber took first , David Sherman took second and Randy Carter took third.
Tactical was next, Scott Wilson took first and Randy Carter took second.
We shot light gun last.
Tim Barber managed a 1.665” group, Bill Schrader shot a 1.843” group and Scott Pace shot a 2.068” group. All very impressive under the windy, switchy conditions.
Bill Schrader took first, Jim Shelly took second and Tim Barber took third.
The two gun was won by Tim Barber, Scott Pace took second and David Sherman took third.

Overall it was a great day with a great group of people. Thank you to everyone for helping to set up and tear down.
