Western Colorado 5/10/2025 600 yard Freedom Benchrest report
Nine shooters attended the event.
The wind Conditions were challenging and the Temperatures went from 60 degrees at 9 am to 80 degrees at 2 pm.
Despite the wind, we had some very small groups.
We shot Light gun first, Clay Fowler managed a 1.493” group with his new Dasher and Tim Barber shot a 1.735” group with his BRA.
Tim Barber took first , Bill Schrader took second and Mike Kiser took third.
Tactical was next, Mike Kiser took first and Randy Carter took second and Jim Shelley took third.
We shot heavy gun last.
Scott Wilson shot a 1.341” group, Tim Barber managed a 1.602” group, Mike Kiser shot a 1.861”group. All very impressive under the windy, switchy conditions.
Mike Kiser took first, Tim Barber took second and Bill Schrader took third.
The two gun was won by Tim Barber, Bill Schrader took second and Mike Kiser took third.
Our new shooter Tom Vader won the closest to the X contest.
