Welcome to the Reloading Forum -- Introduce Yourself

Hey folks,
Been lurking here for almost a month, figured i'd say Hi.
Started reloading at the beginning of the year and went all in. By summer time, I reloaded 44 Mag/Spl, 6.5CM, 7mmRM, and 9mm with multiple powders, bullets and brass. Looking forward to expanding my already expanded mind.

Seasons Greeting from Northern Virginia. I have been trying to get on this forum since 2022 and sometimes I would have a VPN or and sometimes hidden relay...finally figured it out. I have been reloading for perhaps 5 years and my wife and I are big hunters of PAPER with suppressible calibers that make shooting a pleasure...... Cheers!

I’ve been “lurking” here for awhile. I’ve always liked firearms. I bought my 1st gun in 2005 right after I got out of the Air Force. It was one of the cheapest handguns available near me, a Smith & Wesson SW40VE. I carried and shot that gun for 20 years until I bought a Hellcat Pro and built AR15 earlier this year (2025). Finally having higher end quality firearms awakened something in me which caused me to also build a 7.5” AR pistol about a month ago as well as buy stuff to start building several more.

I am now very interested in starting to reload my own ammunition.

I have visited this site many times but just joined yesterday, got approved today!
I have been a reloader since I was 12 but only started reloading for precision shooting since 2000.
I live and hunt here in Montana, mostly elk.

Hello,

Been reading a lot of forums for many years now, just haven't taken the time to contribute and I thinks it's time. Started reloading about 3.5 years ago and getting more and more serious about shooting. Built a 700m range on my property this year and have been shooting a lot more. 42 years old and I have a lot to learn and excited to do so.

Hey guys,
Looking forum to using the forum. I"ve posted here only once or twice, so I'm a new guy for sure.

Just a bit about me...

I am a retired electrical engineer and since I've been retired I started shooting almost every day. I shoot right at 10,000 rounds per year of 223/556 in both bolt guns and long and short barrel ARs. l chrono and record almost every round I shoot and feed the velocities and group sizes into an Excel spreadsheet I developed to statistically analyze each session.

I shoot large sample sizes, minimum 30 shots per parameter of interest, like 30 shots per charge, or case brand, etc. For example, I may load 30 rounds of one specific charge weight and try to make all the rounds identical.

That's about me I guess.

Hello,
I have read many amazing posts in this forum through the years.
I am hoping for some help finding some .14/221 walker reloading dies. If anyone has some for sale or can direct me to someone that may.

Thanks Bret

good afternoon, everyone. I have been a member for a year or so and this is the first time posting. I enjoy shooting with anything long range. we tend to shoot 6GT, 6.5CM, 6.5PRC, and of course 308. I reload for each caliber. I am always tinkering with something with all of these calibers. Keeps me and my 2 young sons out of trouble. Have a good day shooters.

Hello everyone!!! Long time reloader, collector. Have a Seely Masker 6mm ppc.she probably would be good for vintage class. Eventually looking to build a rig that would be a competitive rifle. Thanks for letting me join!!!

Hello, My name is Bert Kiefer from Laredo, Texas. I have been a member of this site for a while and learned most of what I know now from the experience and knowledge of everyone here!

I am a benchrest shooter and avid reloader and I’ve just completed a 3-app precision load development system designed specifically for serious reloaders.

The system integrates:

• Chronograph data analysis (node detection + velocity plateau logic)
• Target image measurement and group analytics
• Structured LD workflow (coarse → fine → verification phases)
• Environmental data logging
• Garmin Xero import support
• Diagnostic scoring engine

This is not a generic ballistic calculator.
It’s a structured decision engine designed around repeatability and stability.

I’m opening a limited external TestFlight group (50 seats max) for experienced reloaders who:

• Develop loads using chrono data
• Understand ES/SD and node theory
• Shoot structured ladders
Are willing to provide detailed feedback

If interested, comment or DM or email me at sendit@choice-tactical.com and include:

• What discipline you shoot (BR / PRS / F-Class / etc.)
• What chrono you use
• Years reloading

This is Phase 1 validation before public launch.

Looking forward to serious input.

I'm Jay from Maine, retired boat repair guy. Started shooting centerfire and hunting in 1959 and got lured into the world of black powder a few years ago as well. Noob to the world of reloading. I'm slowly assembling my reloading bench and the basic equipment for my favorite centerfire cartridges. Like me, they're oldies. lol. Savage .303, Savage .22HP, Winchester .348, 7mm, 30-06. Been studying up on a current Lyman 51 manual as well as a Speer 12. For the oldies, a Lyman #39 from 1953.
Thanks for having me.759965616.987054.jpg Much looking forward to learning how to do this reloading thing the right way. Pic is the first time ever touching off a firearm. 1959. Pretty sure I missed the bottle too.

Hello. Made my first post earlier, hadn't found this sub yet.

SoCal, disabled 'Nam vet (Agent Orange), first gun at 8, now 75 and getting back to shooting after a long bout of A.D.D. hobby building electric guitars.

Looking for obscure loading data, described in my other post.

Hi all,

Just joined the forum today, have been over on the CastBoolits forum for a couple years under the same username. Seeing my interests also extend into "J words"(jacketed), I've been looking for more information on other forums as I look to expand into loading for bottleneck rifle cartridges. Starting with 5.56/223 for my first AR build which I've only run factory ammo through so far. I'm looking to learn, but also contribute when/where applicable. Still very much of a self-admitted greenhorn! Southern California here, Burro Canyon is my local outdoor range if anyone local might ever be interested in networking in-person.
