Welcome to the Reloading Forum -- Introduce Yourself

Long time forum reader. I am a long time reloader (started in the early 1970's and am still at it). Today reloading for a bunch of rifles, 223, 22-250, 6xc, 6.5x284, 270 WSM, 30-06, and 338 Magnum. My two 6xc's and the 6.5x284 are paper punching rifles out to 1,000 yards when that range is open (closed now for waterfowl) south of Brigham City Utah.

New to this forum. I have been chasing varying levels of accuracy for 10 years. Reloading 06, 308, 6 creed, 6bra, .223, .280ai, .243, 6.8 spc, 5.56x42, 300 win, 6.5 creed. I shoot precision rifle and other chaos.

Just joined yesterday. Currently deployed on the Truman. Trying to kill as much time and learn as much as possible before we get back. Started reloading about 6 years ago after I purchased a used Lee Pro 1000 and a bunch of misc equipment and started with .40 S&W. I have setups now for .40 .45 and .223, although they're currently packed away somewhere. I'm looking to get setups for .308 and 6.5 CM after I get back and after I've transferred in the next few months. I look forward to learning more from everyone and possibly contributing.

Not been on this forum too long. I've hopped over here a time or two through the years. Being a highpower competitor (primarily Across the Course, some Palma and LR mixed in), I've mostly been on the usrifleteams.com forums under a similar username.

As far as rifle calibers for competition go, it's pretty much 6XC, .223, .308. And of that, it's mostly 6XC.

Hey all, long time shooter and reloader. Started with .44 mag and a lee loader! I remember taping the primers in the cases with a hammer and ever once in a while they would go off and the wife would give me hell! LOL actually Ex wife! I started shooting groundhogs in Kentucky and trying to get a rem varmint in 22-250 to shoot less than an inch was challenging! I currently load for 450 marlin, 7mm rem mag in nesika custom, 22-250 Winchester varmint, 308 savage hand cannon,.223 ar rock river varmint, .45 Kimber.

My name is Ted Lindsey aka Methow Packer. I live in Twisp Washington aka Methow Valley. I'm a senior and have been a reloader for over 50 years. Precision shooting is my biggest interest with LRS right up there. Also shoot a fair amount of pistols and revolvers. I just had cataract surgery on both eyes. I'm back as a better shooter. Fun to see clear again. Custom 243 win, .270WSM and 30 Nosler are my go to bolt actions at this time. I horse back in the wilderness through out the summer months. Make horse and saddle tack in the winter.

Hi, I am from Northern Italy near Brescia (near Beretta, Tanfoglio, Umberto, Chiappa, etc.).
I was shooting since 30 year and reloading since 5 years. Recently I discovered that the later activity is much more sophisticated and fall in love with it, so from Lee Classic Cast and some Lee dies I am shifting to Wilson, Sinclair, Redding, Forster, PMA.
My Precision calibers are: 223R (Savage 12), 6.5x55 (Carl Gustafs and AG42/B for my competitions) 308W (Sabatti Tactical).
Thanks

Always nice to see folks from Europe (excluding Britain ) who enjoy shooting sports and more so Reloading !
95% of the folk on this forum are in the USA. 4% from Canada and 1% from everywhere else. At least that's what I think :D

Hello All,

New to this forum and new to precision rifle building. Setting up a Rem 700 300 WM for long range target and hunting.

Dippy

New to this forum. Not new to shooting or gun forums. I've been reloading for about 4 years.

A relative exposed me to 1,000 yd shooting about a year ago. I've got a stock Rem 700 (varmint model; bull barrel) in .243 that I've been using for that plus high power silhouette. That barrel is about dead and I'm going to rebarrel in 6.5 CM. So I'm ramping up in the long range space - and figure this site is a great place to do so. :)

Hi everybody. I'm Pat, I'm pretty new to this forum, but am more active on others. I handle brass casing quality control at Jagemann Stamping company, so as you can imagine I do quite a lot of loading and testing to qualify our brass. I did just buy myself a 6.5 Creedmoor rifle to play around with on my own time when I'm not shooting for work and have enjoyed chasing accurate loads for that, though I don't have nearly as much free time for personal shooting on the range as I would like. I am always interested in hearing feedback about our brass from shooters who have used it and am happy to provide any information that I can about our capabilities as well.

Thanks

Greetings
I’ve just joined and looking forward to learning about precision shooting and giving it a go
I’ve been shooting, reloading and casting 4 decades
I shoot and reload around 50 different calibers
My most accurate rifles are probably tang safety bull barrel m77 in 22-250
And old savage 111 side button in 243

Aloha, I'm Dave and new to the forum. I currently live on the Big Island of Hawaii. I've been a plinker for decades on the mainland, casting and reloading mainly in 45 Long Colt and 45-70. In the last 3 years I've gotten more into precision shooting. I've had a custom benchrest 22LR built and taken gold with it. But haven't got the center fire worked out yet. I recently picked up a Savage 10 BA Stealth in 6.5 creedmore and am working up loads for it. I'm really interested in long range shooting now. I look forward to learning from the more experienced members.

Hi all I have been shooting for quite a few years but only took up competition shooting a few years ago. I'm in Aus and we shoot a class very similar to F T/R which I compete in at so far up to state level and have been on the podium a few times after learning so much from the guys in my club and district. it is amazing how much you don't know when you start learning from where you thought you knew heaps.

Thanks for the info.
Not sure what part of the state Bridgeville is in. I;m in north central MD so it could be anywhere from 2-4 hr drive one one depending on location and traffic.

Hello,

I've always been interested in long range shooting but never really had space. Especially when I lived in The Communist State of New Jersey for 8 years. Now I live in Nevada and have miles in my backyard. I currently have a 223R gas gun, 224V bolt, and 6.5CM parts on the way. I'm currently searching forums for better optics and I am very interested in reloading. I have never reloaded and don't know shhhh about it. What is a good resource to learn to reload for a beginner that filters out the noise? For instance, do's & don'ts; what not to waste my money on; full length vs neck sizing dies; to crimp or not to crimp; what type of powder for certain calibers, etc. etc.

Thanks in advance,

-Michael
