Hi Everyone,
I have Remington 700 in 7MM RUM with night force scope. Would like some feedback on good long range reloads from 140 gr to 175 gr? I'd like to shoot goats up to 800m.

Good afternoon all. I am new to the site and had been looking for a resourceful forum that I can participate in that will help me to improve my reloading and shooting skills/knowledge. I am currently working on some loads for a 6.5 Swede that I absolutely love to shoot. Hoping to get into long range shooting very soon. Thanks for allowing me to join this forum. God bless

Hi all
Am new to this excellent forum and would like to ask about a 22 250 AI I have which the barrel is nearly worn out. I would like to reform the brass to use 6mm bullets. Is there a round that these cases could be made into.
Many thanks.

Hello to everyone. My name id Gary and my user name is my Ham Radio call sign.
I'm 55 years old and started shooting at age 5. I started my boys shooting at age 4.
I'm a retired police officer where I was also the SWAT team marksman and I'm in Natchez, MS.
I started reloading is 1984 and started shooting IHMSA in 1984. I like to shoot steel challenge when I can find somewhere close by to shoot.
After being the marksman for the police department I started getting into precision reloading. I also do A LOT of bullet casting.

Long time lurker, I am finally taking the plunge.
The project I am working on right now is a .223 AI AR15. It is my first Ackley and I am open to suggestions and help. My current plan is to use Varget, 77grTMK's or Berger 77gr, CCI-BR4's, and Starline brass. I have an Annealeeze that I intend to use every firing. I bought a 2-die set of Redding .223AI 40deg dies because I intend to full-size every firing (again, an AR).
Where I am struggling and could use a little help is in the load development and fire-forming. After reading many people's ideas on the internet (which is always true) I have come to the conclusion that .223 goes in the bottom and .223 AI comes out the side. As for load development, Varget has always performed best for me with a full (or overfull) case so I am thinking to start near the top of my .223 load, say 24.5 and work up in .2 grain increments.

My other project is a .300 Win that I just cannot dial in with H1000 and 210 Bergers. If you have a recipe i would really like to hear it. I have been sticking close to H1000 and Varget for the temp sensitivity.

Thanks,
Shawn

Hello to everybody.
I'm just reading and learning a lot. I'm beginner in reloding for rifle. My first goal is to get max out of my Rem 700 SPS tactical in .223 on 100y(m) and then go further :)

Hello all:

Colonel Flag here, real name is Bernie. I am 60 years old and a lifetime shooter. Being relatively new to reloading I am hoping to tap some of your knowledge. I shoot hunting arms, but may in the future try to build or obtain a long range rifle. Currently, I own a Steyr Safebolt in 30.06, a Ruger M77 MK II stainless in 30.06, a Winchester Model 70 in .308, and an old Remington 788 chambered for .243. I am interested in improving my groups to the best capabilities of the rifles. I look forward to learning!

Hello to all.
I was digging around for another forum after not caring for the way my other one was going and found this one.
I have been loading for several years but still have lots of questions as I feel no one knows it all, nor is anyone perfect at what they do.

Hello All, Dean here from Sacramento. I am brand new to reloading. Looking forward to reading the posts and getting some good information.

Hello from north of the 49th! I’ve used this site as a resource for several years but only recently signed up. Around 20 years a hand loader, former machinist, wannabe smithy, obsessive tinkerer, ‘what iffer’, & knowledge sponge. Benchrest fascinates me, F-class interests me, shoot & scoot and hide & seek stuff captures me.

Obligations of parenthood & a socially constructive taxpayer notwithstanding, I’m quite certain I could spend my life between the bench, the shop, and the field. Glad to be here otherwise.

From Nebraska, and in college. I shoot PRS style matches often, and have been reloading for only a couple years. I reload many calibers ranging from 6X47 Lapua to 9mm. I try to focus on precision reloading rather than bulk reloading.
