Welcome to the Reloading Forum -- Introduce Yourself

G'Day Fella's,

Thanks for the pleasant welcome, very much appreciated!

Yeah, its been a very mild Summer down under, with lots of rain and poisonous snakes to go with it!
There is just a hint of Autumn/Fall in the air at present which should mean you blokes in the Northern Hemisphere, are finally starting to warm up just a little, I hope?
As to the on-line "Homer" handle, I must be the chosen one???
Or maybe, just plain lucky! How tinny can you get!!!

Doh!

Hi
My name is Daniel and I live in Iceland.
I started shooting 2 years ago, now I got a 6mm BR and Remington 700 Sendero in .300 win mag, got a Zeiss 6-24x56 that I use on both rifles, got a Nightforce NSX 12-42x56 on the way, will be on my 6mm BR sometimes next month.

I am a plumber and run my own company so I got all the time in the world to go shooting as I decide my own working hours :)

I am diving in to the deep end of this hobby, bought a Howa 1500 and changed that to 6mm BR, I do my own reloading and got a pretty good setup for a beginner, then it's just practice and compete.. I go to the range 2-3x every week and shoot about 50-100 rounds each time so I see improvement in group sizes every week.. should reach the .15" average sometimes this summer if my barrel can take all those practices... wonder how many rounds a Krieger match barrel in 13.5 twist can take ??

Hi there all,
I am from eastern Iowa, a die-hard deer hunter, and I really enjoy shooting varmint caliber rifles and muzzleloaders. I don't currently compete but that might change down the road. I dearly love shooting and in particular reloading. I am always testing powders and loads and working on improving my tools and techniques to wring the most accuracy out of my rifles. I am currently transitioning from factory guns to custom and am currently putting together a Stiller Predator-Kreiger-McMillan-Jewell build. My next project will be a 25-06 custom. I am here to listen and learn from you guys.
Thanks in advance for all the great advice I am sure I will get,
Chris

Welcome Chris. Sounds like you are headed down the accuracy path of no return. Good for you and I hope your first custom is all you want into be. But hey, if it doesn't work out, you can always give it to me. ;D

Again welcome to the BEST fourm there is.

Hello all, fairly new to reloading and was told this is a great site for info. Currently shooting a Rock River AR .223 with 1 in 8 twist. No real competition shooting just at the range with some buddies. Anyways, glad to be here.

Welcome Jim! The best of luck on your trip. May the mounds be full and your shots true. Be sure to tell us about it when you return and don't forget the pictures.

Hi; I use the AKA plugger01, plugger, a name my Dad's friends gave him. I am really getting into the 17 Rem and I want to learn all I can about the round and ways to load it. I plink with a 17HMR. Still learning the reload art but it is fun to do. I have been shooting for a very long time and I like them all. Hope to learn a lot here.

Hello, all.
I've been reloading for a little over 50 years, and have so much fun learning, that I can't believe when I find out more. I'm involved in most forms of reloading, except black powder, tho' I have done some.
I like to shoot competition 'cause it gives me more opportunities to reload.
have fun,
Gene

Welcome Gene! 50 years and still love it; that's a good deal. Hopefully you will find opportunities to learn even more on this site. I know I have.

Greetings from lat 45.3775 long -76.8655 :P My name is Marc and I'm just getting back into the accuracy game. I recently purchased a Savage Predator Hunter Max 1 in 223 that shoots remarkably well. Any pointers on 70gr VLD loads would be much appreciated. :D

Welcome Marc, neighbor from the north. I also shoot a Savage but not in 223. If you post your question in the reloading section, I am sure there will be lots of help for you. Again welcome.
