Been shooting/hunting for 40/50 years. Found this site a while back. Things have changed a bit since I was reloading back in the 70's. I have found a lot of helpfull info here.

Hey all,
Tod from boulder Co. I Have gotten so many good tips and info here I thought I should just sign up. Not much to offer, just another shooter.
6br,223,7-08,30-06,325wsm,35rem,444ruger,30-30,45-70, bunch o 22s, and more pistols than the wife knows. (I tell her it could be worse. I don't shoot heroin) My real passion is the side by side scatter guns, and the dogs that make me look bad, and my wife who tolerates my hobbies. Oh yeah, she shoots too!!

Good day all. MEV from northern California here. Please do not hold that against me, I don't care for it's politics either. Enjoy reading the forums and gathering further information from folks who know or have experienced more than I have. I have handloaded since 1974, rifle, handgun and shotgun. Mainly rifle now. Take care all. MEV

Hey y'all,
I've been reading on this site for awhile, so I might as well introduce myself. I'm Ray, 64 years old, a retired Environmental Engineer, and I've been shooting since my Dad gave me a remington 22 pump when I was 6. I started shooting competition (mostly pistols) and reloading in '79, and I've been bustin' caps since. Got into rifle target work when a friend introduced me to his Rem 700V in .222, and found a new addiction. Then found prairie dog hunting, and I was firmly hooked. When I found this site, I o/d'd. I have a Savage target action RB/LP in 6mmBR that will consistently shoot sub-inch at 400m (best so far .338") with 80gr Bergers and IMR 8208. Have plans to rebarrel my Ruger M77VT to .308. Heaven only knows where I'll go from there.

Thanks for a great site!!

Greetings from Atlanta.

I really enjoyed reading some of the posts in this forum yesterday.

I am looking to learn some techniques from you Benchrest guys that I will be able to apply to my long range target shooting. The gun club I belong to has a 600 yard range and a new silhoutette range. I have been playing with the 600 yard range for the last few years and really enjoy shooting at the longer distances. I am hoping to refine my precision on the 600 yard range and the Long Range HP Rifle Silhouette range and working up to some 1000 yard shooting.

I have been handloading since I got my first Lee Loader way back in 1964 and have been handloading ever since. I just received my first custom build, a 7mm 300WSM Wildcat. Prior to this I was modifying 270 WSM Norma Brass to use in my 7mm WSM. I am in the middle of working up a Berger 180 VLD Hunting Match Bullet, H4831sc, Federal GM215M, and Norma Brass load for new rifle. I have already found a lot of very useful information in this forum.

Thank you for sharing y'all's experience and expertise. This is a great forum!

Mike

Hello all!!! I'm Shakeber. I shoot a Rem 700 SS 5r milspec in 308 and a Weatherby Vanguard Sub-MOA in 243. I am currently loading up rounds to perform OCW's for both of these rifles. I have read these forums and found them to be very informative and the users very knowledgeable. I look forward to being an involved member. Thanks.

Hi all my name is Al from western washington glad to be on this site, i shoot bench rest & high power, re load, make bullets, shoot long range. Look forward to joining the group.

Hi all. What a great site! I shoot a 22BR out of a Rem. 700 with a Hart barrel. I love it. I've been reloading over 55 years. I would like to have a Savage 12 BVSS-S in 6mm BR but it's getting a little late in my life to think about a new rifle. To tell the truth, I don't know why I got a 22BR barrel instead of 6BR. Did I say I like this forum? WOW!!!!!

Hi all. My name is Eric. I have been on this site before (about 3 years ago) but never registered until now. I took a small hiatus from shooting and now am getting back into the sport. I am looking at reloading for the first time and seeking the advice from those that have experience. I shoot mostly .308. But for a while now, I have been fascinated by the 6.5 family of calibers.

hi quickone , i have a 6br on a 700 #6 douglas and love it. but i really need some info on 25wssm, i like 25's for deer hunting; and own 3 win 70's. they shoot .5-.80. but want more load data to try. any body tried barnes bullet in these.

Hello all, as you can tell by user name I am a former Marine, (Semper Fi ) l am fortunate enough to live in northern Cali by northern I mean ten minutes from Oregon so there is no shortage of places to shoot. I don't have a BR cartridge yet! But I have several 6.5x55 rifles and a nice M1a loaded rifle that I am currently working on a 700 yard load for. Thanks for a great Forum and site.

I am in Georgia, and have been reloading for 45 years. I currently shoot 100-200 yard Bench Rest, both group and VFS. I hunt, and reload many calibers. I am shooting 6MMPPC using 8208 mil surp powder, and have just received 32 pounds of IMR 8208BR. I look forward to trying it, even though it is a different granule from the original 8208.

Hey all,
New on THIS forum but been around lurking and learning on several others. Got my first precision rifle in december and got a m700 sps-v and dropped it in a Mcm a5 with a jewell trigger, Badger m5, EGW 20 moa base and tps tsr rings and a leupold vx3l i took off a hunting rifle. Looking to start reloading for it (.308) soon once I can save up a little cash to get it started. I'm in the Bay Area, CA which sucks because there are very limited amount of ranges and to my knowledge are not any really beyond 200 yards for several hours drive.
I am hoping to practice and get good enough to start competing some, seeing as I quit lacrosse after 12 years so will need to satisfy my competitive itch with paper/steel punching.

Hi all- new to forums and still trying to figure out how to get around. But this look like a lively group and hope to learn along for the newbie I am. hunted off and on since high school but work pretty much kept my nose to the grindstone until recently. At 61, I can finally slow down a little and have discovered long range target (f-class and BR type). Woods in Ala just to thick for me to go bulldozing through anymore. Springfield SDM 9mm, Browning buckmark 22, Remington 700 in 300 win mag, Sig Sauer 556 in .223, Savage .270 win, and a Browning Magus semiauto 12ga for sporting clays. Need to learn how to reload them all. good thing I don't have to work so hard anymore. see ya on the board, Mike

Just joined you guys from accross the pond. Soon to take charge of a custom 20 TAC. Already shoot 22.250 and 6.5x55 -Is that all you say - well this is the UK!! Load for 8 other people in various calibres. Came to this site because as a guest you have some very clued up guys and I have a hunger to add to my knowledge especially the small calibres.
