Welcome to the Reloading Forum -- Introduce Yourself

Hello;
Found this site while searching for articles on the 20 Vartarg. I enjoy punching paper and calling coyotes. Really like my 221 Fireball on the dogs so am interested in a Vartarg. Anyone else have experience with this caliber?

Lowell Kenney here, I have been lurking for awhile but never introduced my self. I am a long time reloader, since 1966. Loaded many years for fun, cost savings, hunting and target pratice.

Now I own Eagle View Arms and the 5MM Craig cartridge as well as Eagle View CNC machine Shop, which are all part of Eagle view research Center, LLC based out of Shelton, WA. We make custom reloading dies starting with the 5MM Craig dies and now expanding into the Dasher series, the 20 AI Hornet and some others as time goes by. We also make TC Contender and Encore Stubs and manufacturer other firearms parts.

I invite you to stop by our website and check it out. It is new and still being built but you should find information and products that are usefule to you.

Our websit is www.eagleviewarms.com

Thank you and great sharing this site.

Hello,
Currently the only 6mm rounds I load for are 6mm-284 and 243 winchester. Other chamberings I load for are 22 Hornet,30/06,7x57,35 Whelen,45/70,7.62x54,270Win,264Win,7mm Rem mag. I am always looking for info and am willing to share what I know. Looking forward to talking to the folks here.

Long time reader of this website. I've appreciated all the advice of the forum members and the incredible amount of infomation the website hosts provide.

I'm on the verge of purchasing my first 6mmBR. I still have a few decisions to make regarding twist and barrel length. I will also be posting a few questions as I move forward in buying the reloading equipment I need. I'm certainly looking forward to reloading this accurate caliber.

I currently reload target and varmint rounds for three .223 Rem and a .22-250 Rem. With handloads all four rifles can shoot sub moa, and two of the rifles I can reload to 1/2 moa or better. Just now really starting to focus on benchrest accuracy and I'm hooked. Best group ever has been a .176 and now I want to shoot that small all the time. Also reload for a couple .270 Win that I've taken deer with.

Looking forward to exchanging information will all of you.

looking for a suggestion. I have a hk model 770 in 308 I have hunted with it for years and killed alot out to about 300 yrds what would be my best bet for a long range load in this gun? I have used 150 nosler partitions and 180gr nosler ballistic tips for wolves but i want to shoot some deer at 500 to 800 yards. thanks tim z

Howdy,
I've watched this site for a couple of years and just decided it was too much fun to ignore! I'm in West Texas after teaching and coaching in New Mexico for 31 years. Still coaching at a small college now. I've reloaded since 1961 and have learned a thing or two. Now I'm anxious to find out how much I still have to learn.

Hello from Florida. Just a poor college student trying to inundate himself with information so I can start off on the right foot once the funding becomes available. Most of my shooting experience is with pistols and only recently have I started getting into rifles. I favor the AR family of rifles and want to see what can be done to stretch the design limits.

artical update for digital dispensers request????

I love the articals in here and I would love to see a updated review of the dispenser artical as most of the dispensers are now in a third generation.
I would also like to see any new ones compaired as well like this one: http://www.smartreloadermfg.com/isdscaledispenser.html
first glance it looks like a rcbs ripoff but things are layed out differently i.e. keyboard in front might be easier to use and it has a extra trickle fetchure I think someone mentioned they wanted that none of the machines offered at the time.
I'm not new but I am reenrolled now i hope signed in about 6 times LOL

Greatings to all.

I'm Terry Balding a VHA member and new target shooter. My wife Debbie and I shoot VHA and local matches. I have been reloading for about 7 years.

I look forward to learning from you.

Hello Everyone,

I haven't reloaded rifle for about 10 years but recently became interested in Barnes TSX bullets for shooting pigs on a local ranch. I have been working on loads for .308, .280 and 7mm-08 in the 150 and 140 gr sizes.

I'm a new member with much to learn. I have enjoyed spending several hours on this site learning my way around. I've taken a real interest in the versatility of the 6.5 round. I've been shooting a new 6.5x300wsm and am in the process of building another 6.5 but haven't decided between several other parent cartidges yet. I also am a collector of old Colts and Winchesters, and I hunt a lot. I'm retired and enjoy reloading very much.
