Weird phone call from gun club?

Anybody have any idea why I (in Ohio) would get a phone call from "Texarkana Gun Club"? I was not able to answer and did not have my phone near me so could not see who called until later. They left no message and I'm reluctant to try and call back since so many numbers can be spoofed.
The number was 877-672-2000 and when looked up it comes up to several gun stores and clubs including the NRA

You’ve won 10,000 primers! They only need your bank account info for shipping and processing!

It is an ongoing investigation because someone shot their steel popper targets with a centerfire rifle
They are just trying to find the lowlife that did it.
Looks like a nice place to shoot.
I gather there's no rangemaster. That'd never happen at our County facility (rangemaster is deputized), but there are tradeoffs in having rigid control of access and the clientele.

From the picture the target was well past the point of needing replaced. Cracks, dimples and cratering. No, it shouldn't have been shot with a high velocity round but I bet the marksman is really proud he "rang steel" on that tiny target 20 yards or so away.

Over the years I've had to repair a few of my target racks. Mine is mainly 1/4" thick for my rimfire matches but I do let people use the range to setup/sight in their CF guns. They may set up paper but forget that round can ricochet off the ground and hit one of the targets farther out.

Guess that just goes with having a range and allowing others to use it. I keep a few 1/2" AR 500 targets at 195 yards for them but accidents happen. I don't charge for range use, places to shoot are hard to find for some people and figure we all need to keep helping others when we can.

There will always be a few that really push the limits and make it bad for others, they aren't invited to my range. Most people have no idea the cost to set up a range with a covered firing line, benches and all the work to make/maintain all your own target racks.

A Nigerian cousin to WLP, asking you to hide some of the millions he needs to shield from the NYAG while they complete their move to the great state of Texas.

...on behalf of the NRA leadership, we are collecting funds as Wayne needs more custom silk suits for the upcoming trial.

In addition, we are also soliciting requests for sources (foreign only please) for silk in a bright orange jumpsuit color.

My registered vehicles are a '92...'03...'07 and I still get an occasional call about extending my "warranty"

My vehicles are '59, '92 and '03 and I get those calls.

It's folks like my 90-year-old mother that are victimized, as they don't grasp the obvious and can be talked into anything. My mom three different times sent checks for $7000 to scammers, and we were lucky to have a friend at her bank who was paying attention, so no losses. However she did have to have her account closed, and a new one opened, each time. Finally a light dawned, but she now writes checks only under family supervision.
