Weird 6mm Creedmoor brass, what happened here?

I just purchased a whole bunch of once fired SPP 6mm Creedmoor brass and every one has the shoulders blown out like this. Measured the shoulder is a almost .017 out from "normal" and has a weird taper to them (AR fired possibly and not completely in battery?). They all resize back to normal ok but they sure look bad.
Normal from my rifle left two, three of the purchased brass on the right.

I think SPP means Small Primer Pocket. I can only assume the chamber of that rifle is all messed up. Never seem brass do that myself.

I was thinking it looked like someone tried running it through an incorrect sizing die or something.

Regardless, I agree with the above and don't understand why anyone would buy used brass. I'm sure others get by fine with it's a hard no for me. About the only way I'd ever buy used or range brass is if I was a high volume AR shooter.

That isn't right and I won't even speculate on what caused them to get that way.
I would, however, go back to seller and request he make it right.

Just resize 'em and shoot'em.

Who ever you bought them from, didn't know what he was doing or didn't finish what he started.
Who knows what else is done to them and if they are actually once fired.
I'd trash them and start fresh.
You'll spend time and barrel life, which the 6 creed doesn't have a lot of, trying to get them straight.
New brass isn't that expensive and will last. Not worth the trouble.

I don't understand.
You spend a lot on a new rifle and then buy once fired brass to save a few dollars and get a pig in a poke.
WHY?
Why not? Wanted to try to see if the small primer pocket brass is any improvement and I'm only out a few bucks for 250 pieces once fired brass vrs. over a hundred for 100 pieces of new.

Nah they will be fine for my testing. I resized up about 20 of them and they look like new now. If the small primer is a huge improvement I'll replace them with Lapua. These were priced right so no worries, would be different story if they was damaged and couldnt be used.

Possibly fired in a barrel originally in another caliber that was set back, but not enough to clean up the old chamber/leade/neck?

Resize them and fire them in your rifle/chamber, now they are fully fireformed to it and will work just fine, for once fired brass. Enjoy shooting and don't worry about a little mis-shape, as long as they work for you.
