Weight of empty 8# Hodgdon jug?

Empty weight of different ones
Wrong units, back soon.
That was supposed to be 5.24 oz for the IMR jug, 5.90 oz for the other two.

Nick, that's either one of those old metal jugs or it ain't empty.
JD probably still has his in the metal cans :)
Weighed with really cheap scale.
Repeats within a few (10) grains. Position sensitive.

I wonder if the weight of a full/partially full jug changes with moisture content?

I think we got that BiMart prolly early to mid seventies. I got my first Rock Chucker there, and that would have been '74 or 75' I think. It was a great place for sporting goods back then, and still not too bad.

BiMart used to be a big deal to us folks around here. You've got to be a member, and it's now employee owned. WalMart could drop off the edge of the earth as far as I care. BiMart -- not so much. jd

Here's another blast from the past from "jd's Antique Reloading Supplies".

Full brick of CCI 200's. Back then if you had told us that 100 would ever be sold for that much, we'd have said "not in my lifetime!!" jd
