Picked this up at the fun show couple weeks ago. Weber action made in Lodi, CA in the 60s or 70s? Apparently was built by Seitz (sp?) out of Pendleton, OR. Originally a 219 Donaldson Wasp, at some point rechambered to 22br. Canjar trigger that has some creep that makes it feel like a 2 stage trigger.
"second" stage is around 8 ounces, so not terrible. Took it out with some 52 nosler custom comps and the first group at 200 was about 1/2"
Smoooooth action.
There are a couple of old threads about these actions, anyone running one currently, or have any experience with one?
Anyone know off the top of their head if the footprint is identical to anything, or completely unique? I called Mcmillan, they don't inlet for it. I was thinking this would make a great action for a single shot Fclass type rig, but I will probably just enjoy it as is.
