Weaver T36 Turrets

Turrets on the T36 I have are marked 0 to 4 then a 1 min. space then a 4 back to 0.
Weaver does not make a replacement with 0-9 min. markings.
Anybody know of an aftermarket turret ring with 0-9 min. markings?

Maybe try contacting Kenton Industries. They make a few different turrets for several different scopes. Maybe they have something that will work.

Or if it's possible, have someone machine you a bare turret, or turn your turret down enough to remove the markings and have them engraved however you like. If you came up with a format someone that does engraving could probably laser it onto a turret without too much issue. I know it's a stretch, but it may work.

On both of my T36 scopes, I simply removed the dial, found a gummed label, and carefully marked the distance between each one minute marking, with a pen wrote the appropriate numbers above, and taped this narrow strip above, so that Weaver's crazy numbers were covered. Works until the tape adhesive dries out.

How smart would it be for them to have one set of turrets with the current marking system and the other set of turrets with steadily increasing numbers ?

Is the current setup actually useful for any competition ?

You can get apair of T 24 turrets from weaver. they have the markings from 0-9. they are not the fat ones like the T 36, but they are tall, in black with gold numbers and they come with turret covers. thats what I did and they work fine. I can't recall if they even charged me for them. ronfoster
