Weaver Scope Repairs Site?

Ironsight does good work. They used to have extremely long wait times due to the interest in CMPs Vintage Sniper Match and the inrush of Weaver and Lyman scopes.
Call and ask?

Bill Ackerman, 505-589-3833 did mine last, but it has been about ten years. Not sure he is still doing business. He was the go-to guy

Thank you! I want to get an old Weaver K4 inspected. May use it for the new service rifle config. Who knew when I last used this scope over 40yrs ago that it would be back in service :)

What jbarron said, Optical Services is Bill Ackerman. Cheryl does great work, Dan.

Has anyone had an older scope cleaned by one of these shops, either Ironsight or Optical Services? I have an older T-16 that seems fairly dark/cloudy compared to a newer Weaver classic V-series, and I was wondering if that's due to the quality of the glass, or whether dirt and deposits could collect inside the glass over the course of decades?

Squint & Squeeze,
You should call Optical Services co. And see if you can speak to Bill Ackerman as he was the design engineer for the old Weaver Steel T series scopes! He worked for Weave from 1971-82. If it needs to be cleaned or upgraded like being blueprinted Bill is the guy! Cheryl his daughter runns the day to day operations, and does much of the work.

Ackerman did 2 T-6 for me and they were good. Ironsight took on a 6-18 old Redfield with target knobs that looked like someone poured milk on the lens. Came back (14-16 months later) like new. Clear, smooth movement, just like it was in 73. $120 if I recall right.

Oh, and those old weavers delaminate, that is why your scope lens is getting yucky.
