Weaver quality

I recently purchaced a CZ 453 in 17HMR. It is the varmint with fluted barrel. I had a Weaver V16 about 10 years ago in the 4x16 fine cross hair with dot. I really liked the scope and for what i paid for it I thought it was well worth the money. Everything worked like it should and the glass was nice. I am set on getting another one and was wondering if the quality of the scopes has gone down hill. Anyone have any exsperiance with the newer scopes. Thanks ...DAN

Anyone have any experience with the newer scopes.

I have TWO of the Weaver T-36 competition scopes. The quality is excellent.

My weavers had had good clicks. I would opt for the Grand Slam over the V16.

I have a grandslam and a v-24,both are fine scopes.
