Weaver CT-36 Reticle Broken -- Advice?

May not be correct area of forum? I am in the process of mounting a weaver CT36 micro-trac with the target dot retical. I purchased on here maybe a year ago and never used it. Been In the box in the safe. Got it in the rings and looked thru it to roughly aline cross hairs and noticed the right side of the horizontal “wire” from the center dot to the edge of scope is broken in two on the scope side. It’s kind of curled up & sticking up towards top of scope!
I assume this scope is scrap metal now? Or would it still track correctly? Maybe stupid question but I’ve honestly never thought about this.
Any advice on who could repair/replace ?
Thanks
Edit: the thing seems to track ok with a borsighter? As thin as the lines are I can’t hardly see them anyway so I may try it…..what do I have to lose.

All this info is on the website.
They might be able to help you.
Your not going to believe this, I went ahead and called (Saturday afternoon) and she answered!! Wow
She said the retical change is completely doable and quoted $225 including shipping. I told her I’d call her back as she is out of town this weekend.
Awesome service this day and age. A lot of companies will not answer during the week during business hours.!!
Now to decide if it’s worth that amount.
Thanks
For the info!!

From past reading here I think Bushnell bought out the Weaver line. I think they will replace the Weaver with a Bushnell scope of their choice, not yours.

I called Ackerman too about my broken reticle in my 36 weaver, I thought 225 plus shipping was way too high, I sent it back to Bushnell who now owns Weaver and they said it’s covered under their lifetime warranty but it could not be fixed. They offered a replacement that I could choose from and I picked a MPO 6-24 even up, not a bad deal since these were over 500 dollars.
