Over the past couple weeks, I was “boasting”about the beautiful weather we were having in Texas. I should have kept my big mouth shut! God is punishing me. I apologize to all my fellow Texans for bringing God’s wrath upon me.
We’re covered in ice, with more to come!

Here in Fort Worth we got about an inch of snow already, and the high tomorrow is supposed to be 18°. This may be the first time in the metroplex I have seen 0°

Here is looking out my living room window in Tomball.
no snow, but it is drizzling at 28 degrees.
Monday and Tuesday is predicted to be in the “teens”.

We really don’t function that well when it drops below 40 in this part of the Country.

We have no snow yet, but we have an inch of sleet. I remember 8-10 years ago that we had a cold snap and the power company was down. We drove 10 miles down the road to the Holiday Inn. Paid our money and went to our room, no HEAT!. They said sorry but should have it going soon. They didn't so we drove another 16 miles to my other shop. We were warm and couldn't sleep in the office chairs.

About 15 years ago I was in San Antonio making a shipment from Brooks when it snowed. I have never seen so much disaster and chaos on the highway in my life. Texican‘s can not do snow. 4 wheel drives, over confidence and elevated concrete covered in a sheet of ice makes for all manner of mayhem.

My wife is grumbling that we left NH to avoid the sort of weather we're having right now in TX. But in a week, it will be 70 degrees. We traded 5 mos of winter for 5 mos of summer.

If you want to put cold weather in perspective, add 'Yakutsk, Russia' to your list of places on your weather app.

THANKS! I was gonna smoke some ribs and salmon for dinner but Noooo someone had to jinx us by talking smack about the weather! T shirt weather 2 days ago and now snow and ice in west Texas. Trust me you don't want drive in this town when it snows once a year. THANK YOOOOU!

"They" (weather folks) kept calling for snowmegedan here,this weekend. Me and the dog were doing the happy dance thinking about long hike/hunts chasing varmints...

Spent 30 minutes watching my neighbor making a fool of himself trying to get out of his driveway and onto
the highway, after that who knows. Truck still at the end of his driveway, guess he walked 150 feet back home. It's been a entertaining day to say the least.
