WC milatary powder #'s

I have a jug with WC 846 on it and my father-in-law has one with WC 846T.
Is there a difference ? This is the first I've used and we both really like it but it
has a different volume when weighed out.

I have some info that I printed back in 2002.
I had several jugs ordered( WC846) from Bartlett Reloading.
He did not list WC846T, but regular WC846 and WC846PD (PD meant pull down powder)
In the description, Original application was for M80 Ball and Tracer M62.
My guess is that it was tracer powder.

From what I gather is that the WC846 is equal to BLC2 and the wc846T is the tracer version if you google it.

WC846 is the original BL-C, NOT BL-C(2).

Its great powder. The 846t is from pulldown tracer loads. 25 grains 844 or 846 with a 55 grain hollowpoint in my 223 is a hammer. Many dead prairie dogs agree. Wish icould buy a dumptruck load of it. Matt

I've got a load for 223 55grs. and one for my 308 too.
