I have been posting messages like this much too often. I just learned that my prairie dog shooting buddy has passed away. Wayne of Shreveport and I started shooting prairie dogs in 1991 at Kadoka, SD, We continued until about 1998 and switched to Wyoming after a couple of years in SD. Two more shooters joined us in WY and outfitter Ron Platt named us the "Louisiana Four". The four were: Wayne Tabor, John Boughton, Bucky Murdock, and me. I am the last surviving and am grateful to have known these men. RIP Wayne.

James- by any remote chance, did he have a brother Bill? Bill used to come out to NZ to shoot annually in our Nationals. Tabor is a fairly distinctive surname.

I believe Wayne's brother died years ago, but I am not sure.
