Way over spec 6.5 creed brass once fired 1.1935 to 1.945 oal

I guess you have a point it was between 5 and 8 thousandths difference. If I trim and still get major neck growth I may have short brass life. I'm thinking I may just trade or sell the rifle to someone who only shoots factory ammo. Semi autos aren't really my jam anyway especially with supplies on the short side right now.

I would not load the stretched brass again. The long necks are from high pressure. Brass has thinned some where.
Auto & bolt action dont always use the same load data. Auto use less powder at lower pressures. ( Sierra data 223)

The port pressure changes with powder. The wrong powder will open the auto action to soon. This increases head to datum length of fired brass. https://www.hornady.com/support/superformance-in-gas-operated-firearms

I would fire a few factory rounds. Take measurement before and after firing.
