Want to get a idea of what the wind does- on a calm fall day watch the leaves fal halter skelter. Watch the big ol snowflafes do their spiral dance to the ground. Go down to the pons and watch the wind switch on the water. Watch the tumbleweed.
Don't fall asleep. Enjoy
Dude, I shoot long range across the canyon right
so no wind indicators in between
I was shooting 1300 yds one time, cool day, no wind at my location, but my bullet was impacting so far left it was almost out of my sight picture
and I had just shot the same spot not a week before and my windage was on for that spot
I was not seeing my bullet impact anywhere near my poa
Sometimes you miss the bullet splash right
So I keep shooting trying to get a visual
I throw some grass in the air, hardly nothin
I light a bic lighter and it kind of flows left slightly but like a 1/2 mph wind
So I go back to shooting
I finally catch my impact and it is 9 feet left !!!
So I zoom in full power and look at what the tree branches are doing on the other side of the canyon
They were twisting and whipping and blowing upward then left etc
---
I was amazed, nothing on my side AT ALL
but like an 18 mph wind on the other side
---
Yes def looks at the trees and branches at the location you are sending your bullet
