In the last couple of weeks I've been looking for small rifle primers. None to be had, of course. There were 3 "johnny-come-lately" sites with plenty of them. Then they wanted bitcoin or some other digital form of payment; no credit cards. Scam!

Bitcoin,... where fools part with their money. All that crazy "digital" currency is a bunch of hokie BS. In my opinion if it it aint cash or gold/silver its worthless.

The most hilarious part is when you call the 1-800 number listed in their ad, you get a generic voicemail that lists a completely different phone number and NO introduction or message to the supposed “component connection” company you are supposedly calling. I plan on continuing to call these clowns and see what info I can discern about their scam. Someone give me the name of a discontinued powder or bullet and I will ask them how much stock they have of it and how new the stock is. This would be a dead giveaway they are the scammers we think they are.
These clowns piss me off to no end.

I tend to be suspicious, at least cautious, of "companies" and "individuals" with whom I've never had a relationship or business.

So I tend to use known-good means of verifying a company's phone number and physical address, finding at least two such sources to confirm. I tend to gravitate to those with a long reputation, though that does skip over many quality up-and-comers. I won't buy from any company's website that fails to clearly list physical address, contact information, specific people. I prefer to go with such companies where I know of at least a couple other friends who've bought from them previously. Doesn't keep away all of the riff-raff, but it helps.

What a freaking scam. I’d love to get my hands on these con artists. In fact, I have really enjoyed turning the tables on the scammers when they call me once a week about an unauthorized $750 charge on my Amazon account for an iPhone 12. I try to screw with them and keep them on the phone as long as possible. It’s actually super funny to hear how mad they get when they find out that you are playing them.

Lol...maybe you’d care to share ANY site that has CCI 450’s available at any time any where.....for a somewhat realistic price (ie less than $90/1000)????
Not so easy when you are put on the spot to produce now, is it???

Discord. Midway brownells and several others have primers instock this month Dave I'm not having problems finding anything but RL15 and BR2 primers managed to get a few pounds of RL15 yesterday just because you aren't finding anything doesn't mean others aren't either
