Wanting to start reloading need help.

I am going to be reloading .243win forsure and hopeful .17Hornady hornet maybe some .308win and .223rem or .22hornet. I have narrowed my options down to 3 reloading press kits the RCBS Partners kit RCBS Rock Chucker master kit and the Hornady Lock-N-Load Classic kit. I am open to others if there are better ones out there for a beginner. Please tell me which one would be the best one for me needs as I have not used any of them. Is there anything else that is a must have that is not in the kits. I know dies will be needed.

The RCBS Pardner press will be all you'll need with those cases, Redding also offers a similar press/kit.

Before you buy any equipment or reload a single round, get a reloading maunal and read it. Ask questions about what you do not understand here. You can hurt yourself real quick if you make a mistake reloading, so take your time and understand it first.

If you have a friend that reloads, go see him and watch him reload. It is way easier to do this, if you know what it looks like.

big country,
any of those kits are fine choices. as was suggested by others, find a buddy and sit a session with him. i offer my friends to sit a spell in the mancave and watch me and try it out on my equipment first. some folks just dont want to do it, some do. when you get a kit take your time learning, and ask tons of questions, BEFORE commit to making a round. the forum is here for you. as for the kits, Hornady is still giving away 500 bullets with the press. dont be afraid to buy used stuff here in the forum either. that can save you some dough!!! as you progress you will upgrade this thing or that widget. sell or trade your old stuff to help someone else out and pay it forward. lots of good deals, good advice, and good humor here.
cheers,
doc

It helps to see it done by a friend, Videos on line , or U can buy David Tubbs introductory video series on reloading.

Ditto on the video.....when I started 15+ years ago the Tubbs video really helped me visualize how to actually do what the book said to do.....

+3 on the video. +3 on seeing someone else do it. Tubbs has a good video, and there are several on Youtube worth watching.
After that, buy Redding. Buy cast iron. Buy American. You will never wear out a good press, but if you buy cheap, you get cheap.
