The XBR was never a rimfire, fyi only.

natdscott - A Remington Rep told me the R was indicating it was a Rimfire model. I had a 40 XBR years ago that was stamped on the barrel 40 XBR 22 long rifle. That's all I know.

Can you tell me just exactly how I should go about retrieving your message? Since I'm a newby on this site, could that have something to do with it? I've been on RFC since 2014 so I'm not new to target shooting or benchrest, in particular.
