Wanted place to shoot ground hogs in Ohio

Wanting a place to shoot ground hogs in Ohio for a weekend this spring.
Will be using a 17 remington rifle and 6 BR pistol.
Can anyone turn me on to some place, someone to help me out?
Thanks!

Wow your asking a lot. If it's at all like around where I live I think you'd as soon ask for a guy's wife. Good luck!!

Obviously the coyotes in Indiana have eaten all your ground hogs too. They are few and far between in southern Ohio.

Got that right. Oh, you can have my EX-wife....she was from Indiana.
Sorry, too many wannabe groundhog hunters here now.

Not only that, but the pups aren't weaned yet in the spring. Yeah, the farmers still want them shot, but the groundhog hunters try to go easy on them until pups are out.

Around here if you wait for the pups your going to be looking for another place to hunt if it is crop land . Hay fields different story . Last year I was trying to hold off to later find out someone else came in and cleaned house to say . That hunter was stopped after he got caught driving across the beans about a foot high. Oh I would love to wait for the pups more targets and some you can get a few shots off before they realize what is going on .

We had so much rain last spring, the beans and hay fields grew like weeds. Waiting for the pups made hunting a non starter with everything so high. Looking forward to next year. ;D

Thanks for your replys.
I was contacted by several farmers and just got 3700 acres to hunt ground hogs on.
This should be a fun spring/early summer.

What part of Ohio? I'm in north central Ohio. I'd be interested in more land to hunt groundhogs.
