Walt Berger Has Passed, RIP

I never met Walt Berger. I wish our paths would have crossed. One of his employees once told me Walt would often go to a match and look for someone shooting his bullets. He would make a deal trading bullets. Load them at the match and shoot his newly traded bullets just so there was no doubt. R.I.P.

Very sorry to hear the sad news.

The worst part of all the cancellations of events where folks like Walt would normally attend is they robbed us all of the last chances to get together before he left the stage. He was a generous man with his time and expertise and I will miss him. Prayers for him and all his loved ones. Memory Eternal

Anyone with Berger Bullets Reloading Manual (First Edition 2012) should read the first 94 pages, it describes Walt's growing up to the inception of his bullet making and Berger bullets.
At the 2013 World Open I purshased 5 boxes (80 count) of his 105 bullets (Mesa ). Still have them, in the 94 pages there is talk of his bad health. Bought them out of respect to Walt. RIP Mr Berger

When I first started chasing accuracy I used to buy bullets from Walt at his little shop on Camelback Road in Phoenix. He always had time to share his expertise and to help me. He and Eunice are together again shooting at the big range in the sky where the weather is perfect with no wind.

A man who lived life and left his mark in so many positive ways. Never met him but have read about and heard about him for decades. I‘ve been using his bullets for many years. I‘m sure he is enjoying being reunited with his wife and loved ones who have proceeded him. my condolences to his surviving family and Friends.
