Walnut Media

do not let cheap krapp from harbor freight turn you against fine blasting media.
in the commercial side of brass polishing it is the standard.
try this take it out side in a mild breeze and slowly pour from one container to another.
let the breeze blow away the dust you get what you pay for sometimes.

I bought the fine blasting media from Harbor Freight. Does anyone want some? Dusty mess.

Throw in a downy anti static dryer sheet.
I do every time I use walnut now, didn't know about it when I had the rouge variety. That red residue would get everywhere, though and once it started doing so it also quit polishing cases.

My thought is that walnut media is better for cleaning, corncob is better for polishing. Also, every variety of walnut media I have used has been a bit dusty and every version of corncob media iveI purchased that was sold and marketed as a product for reloading has been the perfect size to clog flash holes.

I use 50% untreated walnut 50% untreated corn cob,
with 2 caps of IOSSO case polish in a Dillon. The cases
look like gold jewelry. LDS

You can get the Walnut media at harbor freight $25 for 25 lbs .... But it just depends , I use both corn and walnut.. mainly walnut on real dirty or sooty cases... Also use the Cabela's brand polish... Personal preference I guess...
