Walnut Ammo Caddies Are Back – Reasonably Priced! < Questions? >

As many of you will remember, I had to stop making the Walnut Caddies a couple of years ago due to the skyrocketing price of Walnut, and offered only the Oak Caddies.

Fortunately, I recently found a new source for Walnut, and although still a little higher than Oak, I am pleased to offer the highly sought Walnut Caddies, with the new, 3-Mode Timers, at a very reasonable price through Creedmoor Sports.

The Walnut Standard Caddies work with:
• 6mmBR family of cartridges, including 30BR
• 308 Win, 284 Win, 284 Shehane, 6.5-284, 6.5 Creedmoor, and others
(See picture, below)

All Ammo Caddies by Alex feature:
• Solid Walnut or Oak components
• Cartridges can be staged bullet-up or bullet-down
• Polyurethane finish – 20 coats on cartridge block, 5 coats overall
• Timer with three modes: Timer (count-down w/beeper, or count-up w/o beeper), 24-hr Clock, and Alarm (linked with the Clock)
• Timer uses one AAA-Battery, included

Creedmoor Sports is also offering the Oak Caddies in various models, and in the near future will have additional models of the Walnut Caddies.

Keep a close eye on the Creedmoor Sports website for Ammo Caddie availability.

Thank you!

Alex

Alex’s caddies are fantastic! Very well made, F437FE8F-DDBD-47C1-9EC6-B67A91AC2FF8.jpeg stable and the timer is easy to read. Your choice on points up or down, very convenient if you point your bullets or are using the Warner Flatline daggers! Lol.

Thank You, Craig - much appreciated!

In addition to the Caddies I have already made, I have enough Walnut for a few more Caddies, and now I need to decide for what other calibers. Input from shooters in the forum would be very helpful.

The big question is how long will the Walnut prices remain reasonable?

Thanks!

Got 4 of these. He made one for me in .22LR one time, I then gifted 2 to buddies at my club. We use the timers in our local club matches. New ones have better and easier clocks for sure.

Thank you for your support, Dick!

And you are correct; the New Timers are very nice. Large numbers, two or three modes. The early ones have two modes - Timer (countdown or count up), and Clock; the newer ones also have an Alarm mode. For the shooters, the Timer mode, whether count-down or count up, is the one of interest. They use a single AAA battery, and the beeper is rather loud, so I add a small felt pad over the beeper hole to make it quieter.

Thanks!

Alex

If you have any questions regarding the Timer features and operation, or about the Caddie models, please email me or send me a PM. For questions regarding availability, etc., please contact Creedmoor Sports.

Thanks!
